Jakob

My cute nephew (whom I really really miss!) on his way to the "Big Apple"

Mmmmmm....

Today while I was sitting at the car dealership I all of the sudden had a craving for homemade pizza. I haven't made a pizza in a very long time, but it turned out soooo yummy!
Kristy also pitched in and made dessert. Some Key Lime bars. mmmmm...
Happy New Year!!! 25 down, who knows how many to go!

Temple Square

For family night last Dad decided we should go up to temple square to see the lights. I haven't been in probably 3 years so it was fun to see the changes. Here are some pictures!

Merry Christmas to Mom and Dad

This year the siblings all contributed to get a present for mom and dad. We had to wait till today so Amy could be here when they opened it. Here it is! Merry Christmas Mom and Dad!

Merry Christmas!!

This Christmas was as all Christmases have been... and that's how I like it. It started Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Rogers' house for dinner and a nativity scene performed by the grandkids. Kara was Mary, Andrew was Joseph, Rachel was the angel, Kristy and Kaylee were Shepherds and James was Samuel the Nephite (during his part Aunt J decided to make it as authentic as we could and began to throw stuff at him while he was doing his part... it was pretty funny! Go James!). The kids did a great job doing the nativity. Good job to mom for putting it all together and conducting the music and to Amy for being the stage manager After dinner and the nativity we all were able to eat some yummy desserts courtesy of Grandma and Uncle L, play games with cousins and get our loot from our mittens (way to be healthy this year!!!). All in all, it was a good Christmas even though we missed Connecticut brother and sister-in-law and cute baby J, and Brigham brother and sister-in-law and monkey. Even though the crowd was small it was still as good as it gets. Who would pass up hanging with the family during the Christmas season?

Cute Cute kids!

Andrew, Kara, and Kaylee

Kara doing her Kissy face
Me and my favorite boyI promise I'm not pinching him!!! When I showed this picture to everyone they all asked "what are you doing to him?" Absoulutley nothing!! He's just being Andrew and pulling a face. hehe

Here's Kristy in her new footsie PJ's. Now she'll be all warm and fuzzy in the freezer... I mean basement.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Amen

Lovesac Heaven

As a treat to myself I bought a Pillow Sac. I had been wanting one for a while and Lovesac was having a killer deal on Thanksgiving day so I just had to do it. The other day little sister came up to me and asked if I had read the warning label on the sac. I had not so I decided I'd take a look and this is what I found.

My Baby

So after many many years of wishing and hoping and three hours of pushing and prodding and manipulating salesmen I finally bought myself my silver 4 Runner! I love it! It is really comforting to know that my car will go when I tell it to go (especially now that it has been snowing constantly). While dad and I were sitting in the Brent Brown Toyota store I was thinking about the old Toyota commercials where the people would jump in the air next to their new car... I decided I would like to re-create the old days. The following images are me trying to do that. haha! p.s. if anyone knows of anyone that wants to buy a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant with 150,000ish miles on it please let me know.
