Kristy's Photography Class

Kristy is taking a photography class in school. Her last assignment was to take portraits of people with different types of lighting. Here are some of the photos she has taken. Yes I am goofy in several of them... it was fun!!

Rock Climbing

Here are some pictures of my rock climbing class at the Quarry. This coming Tuesday is our last class... tear... I would really like to continue climbing which would involve buying some climbing shoes and a harness and other fun stuff! yay!

Me and Jenn... she's the one who convinced me to take the class, and I'm glad she did because I think I've found a new hobby! Yeah... and I look like a dork in this picture, gotta love it!

Me and my battle wound... My arm got pinched in the belay while I was belaying Jenn. Yeah it hurt and I have a bruise now... I actually have 3 new bruises since I started the class, mostly on my knees.

This is me at the top of the wall!! Woo Hoo!! I think I'm finally getting over the height thing so thats good!

Bouldering... SO HARD!! So with bouldering there is no top rope to catch you if you fall. Luckily the boulders are not so high that you would die if you fell, but you could still get hurt. So this is my attempting to boulder. It takes so much more upper body strength because you are climbing up and out... Lets just say since I've started this class I have some pretty good muscles now... finally I am strong!!

If anyone ever wants to climb with me let me know! It is really fun and it is a good work out!

Valentines Flowers

This week my relief society did a floral arangement Enrichment which was taught by our resident florist.

We made these cute Valentines arangements with roses, lisianthus, and lemon tree leaves. I am enjoying having this arangement on my kitchen table. I love flowers!!

P.S. I sold my car!!! yay! no more paying insurance on 2 vehicles! I am having some separation anxiety though....

I did it!!!

I did it!!! I made it to the top of the wall at my rock climbing class!!! 4 TIMES!! Granted I will most definately be sore tomorrow... but who cares... I DID IT!! It is such a good feeling to conquer something that scares me. Who knows, maybe I'll move on to bigger and better things and conquer those too!
