I Forgot... Classic Phrases from the trip

Kaylee: (about 2 hours from Reno) "Mooooommm... we've seen this before"
Amy: No, it just looks the same.

Kara: (Driving past a rock fall area) "Mom, that mountain is caught in a fish net!"

Jenny: "Andrew, don't get the truck stuck in my hair, okay"

California dreamin'

Last week we (Dad, Mom, Kelly, Kristy, Me, Amy, Kaylee, Kara, Andrew and Anna) went to California to visit the beach and Grandma and Grandpa Rowan. We had a really fun time! And here are some pictures to prove it.

Wide Load! I thought this was sooo funny. This guy strapped a little toy truck on his huge flat bed trailer.

Here are the kids at one of our pit stops. Andrew called this "the big can." He's soo funny!

Happy Anna after being fed

While me and the kids were in the bathrooms it started pouring rain and Amy was parked way behind the gas station, so.... we had to run. We all got pretty soaked!

We decided to do the trip in 2 days so we stopped in Reno and stayed at Circus Circus. While Amy was getting the kids ready for another day of travel, Kelly got to Anna's hair

We camped at the Marina Dunes RV Park. The Beach was super pretty. Way to rough to play in the water though.

Our cute feet. One of those feet belong to cousin Kolby who came down to play with us! The kids had sooo much fun chasing him around and playing with him.

We also went to play at the Dennis the Menace playground in Monterey. The kids had a blast! Andrew loved this train!

Playing at Lovers Point beach in Monterey

The old kids watching the young kids play.

Who's your daddy!

Andrew had tons of fun getting bucket loads of water and going back and forth and back and forth dumping it into the dry sand.

The Beautiful Sunset at the Marina State Beach

We also went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

In Merced we went to see the Agricutural Museum. It seemed more like walking through someones garage with old stuff laying around.

After the Ag Museum mom took us to the cemetery to visit the graves of her brothers

We also visited the Hilmar Cheese Factory

Where we also got to make some ice cream

Here are the newest employees of the Cheese Factory

Kelly liked her hair net a little too much...

Kara too....

Eating "poxils" on the swing at Grandma and Grandpa Rowan's house

Grandpa pulled out the slip-n-slide for us to play on. I realized I'm not as limber as I used to be after tumbling head over heals once I hit the grass. I have it on video too!

Andrew liked playing with the hose

Anna Banana with Grandma Rogers

I don't know if Kristy can take a normal picture...teehee

Here's grandpa's trick and Kristy's too.... hahahaha

My new digs

I have done a lot of moving in the last couple of weeks. First move was to our new office in Orem. It is super nice! It's probably 3 times bigger than our old office which is awesome because I actually have space to work without being in anyones way. I also have my own office... well I share with our office manager Kareen who goes between both clinics. In a previous post I introduced my new desk... well here's a better one!

I also just moved into the basement of my apartment... so I now have a little more space and my own bathroom! Yay! I'll post pictures of my new place as soon as I get everything put away. Yay for space!

My new desk

Last week we moved into our new office in Orem... finally! We still don't have all the furniture needed and I'd asked Dr. Crump for a new desk for my office. Last night I got a text from the girls at the office telling me that I got a desk and Jen had just finished putting it together. I was so excited that I finally got a desk and all day at work today I was excited to stop in to the new office (because I've been in our Saratoga office all week) to see my desk. When I walked in to my office this is what I saw... My NEW DESK.... WOo HOo!

Hopefully I get the real one soon....

On a better furniture note, I bought a new T.V. stand for when I move to the basement of my apartment. I got it for a killer deal at Target, courtesy of a distracted or not very observant employee. I like it a lot. If anyone sees a coffee table that would match this please let me know.
